Following the Board meeting held in Madrid on the 10th of November 2018, Mr Daniel Kaddik has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the European Liberal Forum.
Prior to his job at ELF, Daniel was the Director of the Southeast Europe office of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, where he has been an active contributor to the promotion of liberal values and building strong liberal networks. This includes many successful ELF-projects with a large number of cooperating member organisations. In the opinion of the Board, he will add another layer of success in enhancing liberalism in Europe, in particular ahead of European elections.
Having worked previously for the Foundation in Germany, India, and Russia, Daniel Kaddik is actively involved promoting entrepreneurship and personal and political responsibility. His main interest lay in the field of liberal policy solutions, economics and social sciences as well as entrepreneurship and citizen participation in governance. He received degrees in Governmental Studies from the University of Erfurt, European Studies from the University of Hamburg, and International Studies from the University of Birmingham.
The Board congratulates Mr Kaddik on his new position and wishes him good luck. We are looking forward to the collaboration and are convinced that his appointment is going to be followed by an even stronger collaboration within the ELF network in the upcoming years.
