Human rights are a cornerstone of European integration and one of the world’s most important values, its democratic heritage, and its conscience. Today they are being challenged by a changing political landscapes, by the rise of populist political systems, and complex issues deriving out of technological changes, geostrategic interests, and climate change.
Our objective is to search reasonable argumentation how contemporary political cleavages are affecting and/or contra positioning some important values by which we live, how to tackle these issues by turning to the protection and defence of human rights and take into consideration arguments for free and inclusive development across the continent and globally.
