Following on last year’s success, the European Liberal Forum is proud to organise the second edition of its flagship event – the Idea Accelerator. Taking account of our present circumstances, but with a view of the future, the Idea Accelerator hopes to serve as an experimental online space.
Should we be afraid of the future and the world waiting for us post-COVID-19? Will we be living in unbearably hot climates, permanently wearing masks, and searching for the last few jobs that have not yet been taken by robots owned by the super-rich? Contrary to what you hear in the media, we’d like to show you why the world is going to turn out much better than you think.
We’ll be testing new liberal solutions for managing climate change and boosting the recovery of the European economy after COVID-19. Reforms need to be robust, transparent, accountable and forward-looking; the Regulatory Quality Index provides us with the methodology for developing responsible answers to those climate and economic questions Europe is facing today.
As the world is still recovering from the coronavirus pandemic, we are turning to online tools to organise this unique event that will bring together policymakers and thought leaders into contact with some of the latest ideas and approaches from the ground across Europe.
