Studiecentrum Albert Maertens (SAM, in English: Research Centre Albert Maertens) is the policy institute of Open Vld, the Flemish liberal democrats in Belgium.

SAM offers day-to-day policy advice to the party leaders and members of parliament of Open Vld and prepares briefings and papers on important themes on the regional, national and European level. It also researches long-term issues that will affect society in the future.
