More than four years after the Brexit referendum, the UK’s departure from the EU has been a long process with a lot of ups and downs. As we are now approaching the end of the transition period on 31 December, Brexit is back on the agenda.

With open fronts ranging from the borders in Ireland and Gibraltar to the future of trade with the EU and the mutual protection of EU and UK citizens’ rights, the question remains: what would be the consequences of a no-deal between the EU and the UK?
