For too long have populists and pessimists spurned liberal democracy with their ideas and public discourse The European Liberal Forum (ELF) believes that it is high time for liberal and optimistic ideas to fight back. We’ve gathered some of the best minds to go beyond the policy details and show us why progress and innovation mean the future is at our fingertips

This philosophy café will take us on our tour through how to be forward-looking and optimistic in our politics, why the world is getting better than we think, how to move from nostalgia towards embracing innovation, and what this all means for the future of liberalism.

Our distinguished speakers are visionaries who will describe in their own words what a free and fair future should look like.
