Regional Policy Network (RPN) is a comprehensive capacity building programme designed to train and empower policy advisors, parliamentary assistants and experts in Central and Southeast Europe. The RPN will seek to comprehensively equip the participants with skills in policy development, lobbying and communications, while also creating a platform for a discussion and exchange of ideas on salient issues in Europe today.
The programme for 2020 will consist of three events:
1. Regional Policy Network – Getting into the Policy Cycle, Kranjska Gora, 13-15 March 2020
2. Regional Policy Network – Policy Lobbying and Negotiations, Belgrade, 19-21 June 2020
3. Regional Policy Network – Communicating Policy, Berlin, 6-8 November 2020
Participants are required to participate in all three events.
Organisers will cover accommodation and meals for participants during the events. Participants will be eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses after the event to the amount of maximum of 300 Euros. More logistical details will be shared with successful candidates. Events are organised by the European Liberal Forum with the support of the International Educational Center, Haya van Someren Stichting, Boris Divkovic Foundation and the International Democratic Initiative Stichting. Please apply by 7th February 2020. Applications will be assessed on the basis of experience and motivation of participants while taking into account geographic representation and gender balance. Selected participants will be notified by 14th February 2020.
